Astronomy Digital Picture Gallery (Using Meade ETX 90EC Telescope) The Great Nebula (M42)
This shot was taken on October 11, 2002 with Canon EOS D60 and Meade ETX 90EC telescope. The shots consist of 3 stacked pictures. Yep, I know you've seen better but this was my first attempt at capturing that thing. :) Venus
I took this shot using my new camera Canon EOS D60 and my telescope Meade ETC 90EC. The camera was at prime focus. It was my first time using the camera for astrophotography. And the following two are two stacked Venus shots. I stacked 3 shots to find out if the shot will look better.
I took this shot (above) on September 14th, 2002. It was my first time using my new digital camera Canon EOS D60 at astrophotography. The weather wasn't that good. It was windy and hot. The pictures below were taken sometime in 2003. I don't remember when using Canon EOS D60 with my Meade ETX 90EC telescope. I used a remote control to minimize the shaking.
Saturn
This is Saturn. Isn't it lovely? It's my favorite planet. I know that those pictures are not great but I had to share. It was my first attempt at trying to take pictures of planet, Saturn. I used my digital camera Olympus C3030 with Meade ETX 90EC telescope. (26mm Eyepiece + 2X Barlow) I stacked 4 pictures using Astrostack. It's a free software. I plan to try to take more pictures as soon as I have some free time.
