France Digital Picture Gallery
France has produced many famous painters and sculptures. Thus, the museums were established to show the public those magnificent art items. The most famous museums in Paris are Louvre, and d'Orsay. Louvre has a very large collection of art. The most valuable item in Louvre is the portrait of Florentine, which is known as Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, painted in 1504. Every year, it attracts thousands of visitors from across the country and the world. Paris is also famous for its two streets and they are avenue des Champs Elysee and St-Honore. Champs Elysee street starts from Place de la Concorde and ends on Rond-Point. It is known for its shops, Cafes, restaurants, and Cinemas. The Eiffel Tower is located in Paris near the Seine river. It was built to impress the visitors of the Universal Exhibition of 1889. It was designed by Gustave Eiffel. The Eiffel Tower is the highest tower in the world. It's about 320 meters high and it has 3 levels. The third level can hold 800 people at a time. I could go on and on about France but I don't think I will even manage to stop so I hope the information which I have provided is satisfactory.
